We close at 01:00, every day. That is later than most day spas in Dubai, and it is the reason a decent share of our guests found us in the first place.

The arithmetic matters more than the closing time though. Closing at 01:00 does not mean you can book at 01:00. The session has to finish by then, so a 60-minute treatment can start at midnight, and a 90-minute package needs to be on the table by 23:30.

Who uses the late slots

Office workers from the surrounding towers, mostly. Barsha Heights and Media City run late, and JLT itself empties slowly.

After that, people coming from dinner. The Marina and JBR restaurant crowd tends to arrive between 21:00 and 23:00, which is the single busiest window of our week on Thursday and Friday.

And shift workers, flight crews and anyone whose day simply does not end at six.

Booking late, practically

Three things make a late booking work.

Message rather than call, and send a window rather than a fixed time. Something like “anywhere between 22:00 and midnight on Thursday” gets a faster and more useful answer than a single time we may not have.

Ask the day before for weekend evenings. Thursday and Friday after 21:00 are the first slots to go, and a same-day request at 20:00 on a Thursday often gets a no.

Say which treatment you want, because it determines how late you can start. If you want the 120-minute Moroccan bath, the latest start is 23:00.

What is open at 2am

Nothing of ours, and realistically nothing legitimate in this part of the city. If a listing claims round-the-clock treatments in a residential tower, treat that as the warning it is. We publish the address, the hours and the prices for the same reason.

Nearby and related

The JLT guide has the full menu, prices and directions. Men book through the gents area.

FAQ

What time do you actually close?

01:00, seven days a week.

What is the latest I can start a session?

Midnight for a 60-minute session, 23:30 for 90 minutes, 23:00 for 120 minutes.

Are you open 24 hours?

No. 11:00 to 01:00 daily.

Can I book at 22:00 on the same day?

On a weekday, often yes. Thursday and Friday usually need a day of notice.

Is there parking that late?

Yes, inside Swiss Tower, and it is easier at night than in the afternoon.

SE Gents Spa in Swiss Tower JLT has its own rooms and therapists. Sessions from AED 525, Moroccan bath AED 945, open every day until 01:00 in Cluster Y.

SE Gents Spa is the men’s side of Supreme Energy Spa in Swiss Tower, Cluster Y, JLT. Separate rooms, separate therapists, same treatment list and the same prices. Sessions start at AED 525 and we are open until 01:00.

Men searching for this in Dubai are usually checking one thing before anything else: that the place is what it says it is. The city has plenty of listings that are vague about what they do, and the vagueness is the signal. So, plainly: this is a licensed day spa in a commercial tower, with a published address, published prices and a treatment list you can read before you arrive.

What is on the list

Everything the main spa offers. The Moroccan bath with body treatment at AED 945 for 90 minutes is the most booked, and the full step-by-step is worth reading if it is your first.

The jacuzzi bath is AED 735 for 90 minutes. The full body spa is 60 minutes at AED 525.

Individual techniques include deep tissue, hot stone, four hands, Swedish and hot oil.

What most men book

Deep tissue, by a wide margin, usually for shoulders and lower back after long desk hours. Second is the Moroccan bath, generally after someone has been talked into trying it once.

If you are not sure, describe where it hurts when you message and we will choose. That works better than picking a name off a list.

Timing

Evenings after 20:00 are the busiest stretch. Weekday afternoons are open. The last booking depends on length: a 90-minute package needs to start by 23:30. More on late slots here.

Language

Russian, English and Arabic are all fine. Why so many people search for a Russian spa covers what that label usually means in practice.

FAQ

Is the gents area actually separate?

Yes. Separate rooms and separate therapists.

Are the prices different from the main spa?

No, the same. From AED 525 for 60 minutes.

Where exactly are you?

Swiss Tower, Cluster Y, Jumeirah Lakes Towers. DMCC metro is a short walk.

How late can I book?

We close at 01:00. A 90-minute session needs to start by 23:30.

Can I walk in?

Weekday afternoons, often yes. Evenings fill up, so message first.

Two therapists work on you at the same time, in mirrored movements. An hour of that covers roughly what two hours of one person would, which is the practical reason most people book it.

The less practical reason is harder to describe until you have had one. With one therapist, part of your attention tracks where their hands are going next. With two working symmetrically, that tracking gives up almost immediately, and the result is a kind of mental quiet that a normal session takes much longer to reach.

Who it suits

Anyone short on time. If you have one hour and want the equivalent of a long session, this is the answer.

People who find it hard to switch off. If your head is still running the meeting twenty minutes into a normal session, the symmetry does something a single pair of hands cannot.

People with full-body stiffness rather than one bad spot. If the problem is localised, say a specific shoulder, a single therapist doing focused deep tissue work is the better use of the hour.

What it is not

It is not twice the pressure. The two therapists work at the same intensity you would get from one, just across more of you at once. If you want heavier work, ask for it, same as any session.

It also needs coordination, which is why it cannot always be arranged last minute. Two therapists have to be free at the same time.

Booking it

Ask a day ahead where you can, particularly for evenings and weekends. Weekday afternoons we can often do it on short notice.

The four hands session runs at Swiss Tower, Cluster Y, JLT. Sessions from AED 525, open 11:00 to 01:00 daily.

Men book through the gents area, which has its own therapists. If you are weighing this against warmth-led work, read the hot stone session page. The JLT guide has everything else.

FAQ

Is a four hands session twice as expensive?

It is priced above a single-therapist hour because it uses two people. Ask when you book for the current rate.

Does it feel strange?

For about a minute, then most people stop tracking it entirely.

Can I book it same day?

Sometimes on weekday afternoons. Evenings need notice because two therapists must be free.

Is it good for a specific injury?

No. For one problem area, a focused single-therapist session does more.

How long is it?

Sixty minutes is standard.

How a hot stone session works, what the heat reaches that hands cannot, and who should book it. Available daily in JLT, sessions from AED 525 for 60 minutes.

The post Hot stone spa session: what the heat actually does appeared first on Supreme Energy Spa JLT Dubai.

Basalt stones hold heat for a long time. That is the entire mechanism, and it explains both why the session works and who it works for.

Smooth volcanic stones are warmed in water to a controlled temperature, placed along the back and limbs, and then used by the therapist as an extension of their hands. The heat travels deeper into muscle than pressure alone manages, which means tight tissue releases with less force.

Who books it

People who are cold all day. Dubai offices run their air conditioning hard, and a lot of people spend nine hours slightly chilled without registering it. Shoulders and the mid-back stiffen up in response.

People who find firm pressure uncomfortable. If deep work makes you brace, warmth gets you a similar result without the flinching.

People with a stubborn upper back. The area between the shoulder blades is awkward to reach with hands at a useful angle. Stones sit there and do the work while the therapist moves on.

What it feels like

Warmer than you expect in the first minute, then it settles. The stones are checked against your skin before they rest anywhere, and the temperature is adjustable. If something is too hot, say so immediately rather than waiting politely. Nobody wants a burn, including us.

The session runs at a slower rhythm than other techniques. That is deliberate. Heat needs time.

Who should not book it

Skip it if you have a fever, an active inflammation, a skin condition on the areas being treated, or circulation problems your doctor has flagged. Pregnancy means we change the approach, so tell us when you book rather than on the table.

Booking

The hot stone session is on the services list at Swiss Tower, Cluster Y, JLT. Sessions start at AED 525 for 60 minutes and we are open 11:00 to 01:00 daily.

If you cannot decide between this and something else, the four hands session is the other one people weigh it against, and the JLT guide lists the full menu. People who searched their way here via the Russian spa question usually end up booking this or deep tissue.

FAQ

How hot are the stones?

Warm enough to feel immediately, controlled, and checked against your skin first. Adjustable on request.

Is it better than a normal session?

Different, not better. Heat helps if you are stiff from cold or brace against pressure.

How long does it take?

Sixty minutes is standard, from AED 525.

Can I have it if I am pregnant?

Tell us when booking and we will adjust the approach and the heat.

Will it leave marks?

No. Unlike very deep work, hot stone rarely leaves any bruising.

Why so many Dubai searches say Russian spa, what the label actually signals about staff and pressure, and what it means for the session you book in JLT.

The post What people mean when they search for a Russian spa in Dubai appeared first on Supreme Energy Spa JLT Dubai.

Thousands of people in Dubai type the words Russian spa into a search box every month. Almost none of them want a history lesson about banya culture. They are using the phrase as shorthand, and it is worth unpacking what for.

Three different things one phrase means

Some people mean staff. They want a therapist they can talk to in Russian, which matters more than it sounds when you are trying to explain exactly where the pain sits.

Some people mean technique. European and Russian training leans towards firmer, more structural work than the lighter Asian-influenced styles common in the hotel spas here. If someone has been disappointed by sessions that felt pleasant and did nothing, that is usually the gap they are trying to describe.

And some people mean something closer to a cultural fit: a place where the standards feel familiar, the appointment runs on time, and nobody tries to sell them a package at the end.

What it does not mean

It is not a specific treatment. There is no menu item called a Russian spa session anywhere, including here. If a place offers you one, they are selling you the label, not a method.

It also has nothing to do with a Russian banya, which is a different thing entirely: dry heat, birch, cold plunge. That is a sauna tradition, not a treatment room.

How this translates into a booking

At Supreme Energy Spa in Swiss Tower, Cluster Y, JLT, the practical version of all this is straightforward. You can be served in Russian, English or Arabic. Pressure is set to what you ask for, and if the first ten minutes are too light, say so and it changes.

If firm structural work is what you are after, deep tissue is the obvious starting point. If you want warmth doing some of the work, hot stone. For the full ritual, the Moroccan bath at AED 945 for 90 minutes.

Sessions start at AED 525 for 60 minutes. Open daily 11:00 to 01:00.

A note on pressure

The single most useful thing you can do is speak up in the first few minutes. Therapists calibrate to the average guest, and the average guest wants less pressure than people who search for this phrase. Ten seconds of feedback early saves a whole session that was almost right.

Related

The JLT guide covers the full menu and directions. Men have a separate area with its own rooms.

FAQ

Do you have Russian-speaking staff?

Yes. Russian, English and Arabic are all fine.

Is a Russian spa a specific treatment?

No. It is a shorthand people use for language, pressure and service style.

Is this the same as a banya?

No. A banya is a heat and cold-plunge tradition, not a treatment room.

What should I book for firm pressure?

Deep tissue, and tell the therapist in the first few minutes if you want more.

How much does it cost?

From AED 525 for 60 minutes. The Moroccan bath package is AED 945.

Both are steam and scrub rituals from the same broad tradition, and in Dubai the menus often use the words as if they mean one thing. They do not, quite. The differences are small but they change how the session feels.

The Turkish version

A classic Turkish hammam centres on a large heated marble slab, the gobektasi, in a domed room. You lie on the warm stone, sweat for a while, then an attendant scrubs you with a kese mitt and finishes with an enormous amount of foam, usually worked up from an olive soap through a cloth bag. Lots of water, poured from bowls.

The feeling is architectural. Hard surfaces, echo, heat from below.

The Moroccan version

A Moroccan bath keeps the steam and the scrub but changes the products and the pacing. Beldi, a soft black olive soap, goes on first and sits while you steam. The scrub uses a kessa glove. After the rinse there is usually a clay treatment, often rhassoul, and an argan finish.

Less foam, more product. More attention on the skin afterwards.

Which one to pick

If you want the full bathhouse experience, the heat, the stone, the foam, you want a hammam, and in Dubai that usually means the dedicated hammam rooms in the larger hotels.

If what you actually care about is how your skin feels for the next week, the Moroccan bath does more for it. The black soap and clay stages are doing work that the foam stage does not.

Most people who try both end up booking the Moroccan one on repeat and the hammam when they have visitors to impress.

What it costs here

We run the Moroccan version: 90 minutes at AED 945, 120 minutes at AED 1,155. The longer one spends more time on the clay and finish stages. Full step by step of the session if you want to know exactly what the time buys.

Hotel hammams on Palm Jumeirah and along the beach strip price considerably higher for the equivalent slot.

Practical notes for either

Go in hydrated. Leave three or four days between the treatment and any event where you want your skin at its best, because the first day afterwards it is still settling. Avoid both if you are sunburnt or have recently had laser work.

FAQ

Is a Moroccan bath the same as a hammam?

No. Same family, different products and pacing. The Moroccan version uses black soap, a kessa glove and a clay stage.

Which one is better for dry skin?

The Moroccan bath, because of the clay and argan stages at the end.

What does it cost in Dubai?

Ours is AED 945 for 90 minutes. Hotel hammams generally charge more.

Do I need to bring anything?

No, everything is provided.

How long before an event should I book?

Three to four days. Skin looks its best once it has settled.

A Moroccan bath at our place runs 90 minutes and costs AED 945, or 120 minutes at AED 1,155. Most people booking their first one have no idea what the time is spent on, and a few arrive expecting a quiet candlelit hour. It is not that. It is warm, wet and physical, and you leave with visibly different skin.

Here is the sequence.

Steam first

You start in a heated steam room for ten to fifteen minutes. Nothing happens here except softening. Skin needs the heat and humidity before anything else works, and rushing this part is why hotel versions sometimes disappoint.

Bring nothing. Everything is provided.

Black soap

Next comes beldi, a dark olive-based soap with the texture of thick paste. It goes on across the whole body and sits for several minutes while the steam keeps working. It smells of olives and not much else. This step does the chemical half of the job: loosening the outer layer of dead skin so the next part can lift it.

The kessa glove

Then the scrub, done with a coarse-textured kessa mitt. This is the part people remember. The therapist works systematically down the body with real pressure, and dead skin comes off in visible rolls. First-timers are often startled by how much comes away.

It should feel firm but not painful. If it crosses into painful, say so and the pressure changes. Nobody is trying to win anything here.

Rinse, mask, finish

A full rinse clears everything off. Depending on the package, a clay or argan treatment goes on next, then a final rinse and a hydrating finish. The two-hour version spends longer on this back half, which is the main difference between AED 945 and AED 1,155.

Afterwards

Your skin will feel tight and squeaky for an hour, then settle into something noticeably smoother that lasts several days. Drink water. Skip the beach and strong sun for the rest of the day, because freshly scrubbed skin burns faster than usual.

Do not book one the day before a wedding or a shoot. Book it three or four days before, when the result has settled.

Who should skip it

If you have sunburn, open cuts, eczema flaring, or you have had laser or waxing in the last couple of days, wait. Tell us if you are pregnant and we will adjust what we do and the heat level.

Hammam or Moroccan bath

People use the words interchangeably and they are not quite the same thing. The difference is here, and it matters if you are choosing between two menus.

Booking

Ninety minutes at AED 945, two hours at AED 1,155, available every day from 11:00 to 01:00. The package page has the booking details, and the JLT guide covers directions and the rest of the menu. Men book into the separate gents area.

FAQ

How much does a Moroccan bath cost in Dubai?

Ours is AED 945 for 90 minutes and AED 1,155 for 120 minutes.

Does the scrub hurt?

It is firm, not painful. Tell the therapist to ease off and they will.

How often can I have one?

Every three to four weeks suits most skin. More often than that and you are scrubbing skin that has not finished regrowing.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing. Everything you need is provided.

Can I sunbathe afterwards?

Not the same day. Fresh skin burns quickly.

Media City and Internet City are about nine and seven minutes from Swiss Tower, Cluster Y, in JLT. We open at 11:00 and take guests until 01:00.

Driving times to Swiss Tower, outside peak hours.

These two districts keep odd hours. Production schedules and client calls across time zones mean people here finish at eight, or at eleven, or not at a predictable time at all. That is a bad fit for a spa with a nine-to-nine roster and a fine fit for one that is still open at midnight.

The route

Down Sheikh Zayed towards Abu Dhabi, off at JLT, into Cluster Y. The metro is genuinely competitive here: Dubai Internet City station to DMCC is a short Red Line run and the walk at the other end is a few minutes.

Parking is inside our building.

Sessions that fit a short window

If you have an hour, the full body spa at AED 525 is the fit. If you have the same hour but want more done in it, the four hands session puts two therapists on at once, which is the closest thing to buying time back.

For anyone who spends the day cold under office air conditioning, the hot stone session is the one worth trying. Warm basalt holds heat far longer than hands do, and it reaches the mid-back in a way that is hard to replicate.

Longer options: the jacuzzi bath at AED 735 and the Moroccan bath at AED 945, both 90 minutes.

Booking when your day is unpredictable

Message rather than call. Send a rough window and we will tell you what is free inside it, which beats committing to a time you might miss. Details on how the late slots work.

Nearby

Barsha Heights and Tecom are the neighbouring office cluster. The JLT guide has the full list.

FAQ

How long from Dubai Media City?

Around nine minutes by car, or a short Red Line trip from Dubai Internet City station to DMCC.

Can I book at 23:00 on a weekday?

Yes, as long as the session finishes by 01:00.

What fits in exactly one hour?

The 60-minute full body spa at AED 525, or a four hands session.

Do you take last-minute bookings?

Weekday afternoons and late evenings, usually yes. Weekends need notice.

Is there parking in the building?

Yes, in Swiss Tower.

Discovery Gardens sits closer to us than almost anywhere else: about ten minutes to Swiss Tower, Cluster Y, in JLT. Al Furjan is further out, around fourteen. Sessions start at AED 525, and we are open until 01:00 daily.

Driving times to Swiss Tower, outside peak hours.

Both districts are residential, dense and short on this kind of place. There are salons, there are small treatment rooms inside the buildings, and then there is a gap before anything with a jacuzzi and a full list of techniques. JLT is the nearest place that fills it.

Getting over

From Discovery Gardens, the service road alongside Sheikh Zayed takes you straight into the JLT clusters. It is a short enough hop that the metro barely saves time, though Jebel Ali and DMCC stations connect you on the Red Line if you would rather not drive.

Al Furjan has its own metro station on the Route 2020 branch, which joins the Red Line, so that route is also workable.

Parking is inside our tower.

What to book

The jacuzzi bath at 90 minutes and AED 735 is the one that comes up most from these two districts, mostly because apartments here do not come with one.

The full body spa is 60 minutes at AED 525 and is the usual first booking. The Moroccan bath with body treatment is AED 945 for 90 minutes, and here is what it involves.

When to come

Because the drive is so short, people from Discovery Gardens tend to book last minute. Weekday afternoons we can often take you the same hour. Thursday and Friday evening, message ahead.

Nearby

JVC and Dubai Marina are the other two districts that funnel into the same building. The JLT guide lists everything we do.

FAQ

How far is Discovery Gardens from you?

Around ten minutes by car. Al Furjan is around fourteen.

Can I book for the same evening?

Often yes on weekdays. Weekends fill up.

How much is the jacuzzi bath?

AED 735 for 90 minutes.

Is there a metro option?

Yes, Red Line to DMCC station, then a short walk.

What time do you close?

01:00, every day of the week.

Barsha Heights to Swiss Tower, Cluster Y, in JLT is about nine minutes down Sheikh Zayed Road. Sessions start at AED 525 and we stay open until 01:00.

Driving times to Swiss Tower, outside peak hours.

Tecom is an office district that empties late. The towers along the Hessa Street side keep people past seven most days, and by the time anyone is free the spas inside Al Barsha have taken their last booking. That timing gap is most of why people from this area search outside it.

The run down the highway

From Barsha Heights or the Tecom towers, join Sheikh Zayed heading towards Abu Dhabi and come off at the JLT exit. Nine minutes outside peak, closer to twenty if you leave at six on a Sunday.

Al Barsha proper is further out, around thirteen minutes. Either way you park inside our tower rather than hunting for a space.

The metro also works if you are near Dubai Internet City station: Red Line to DMCC, then a short walk.

What suits an after-work visit

Most people arriving at nine in the evening want one of two things. Either the knots out of their shoulders, in which case deep tissue or hot stone does the job, or they want to stop thinking, which points to aromatherapy or the relaxation session.

The full body spa is 60 minutes at AED 525 and fits neatly into an evening. If you have more time, the Moroccan bath with body treatment runs 90 minutes at AED 945, and this explains the session.

Booking around office hours

Late slots are the first to go, especially Thursday. If you want anything after 21:00 on a weekend, message a day ahead. Full detail on how late we actually take bookings.

Nearby

Media City and Internet City are the next district over and run the same route. The JLT guide has every treatment, price and the address.

FAQ

How long from Barsha Heights?

About nine minutes on Sheikh Zayed outside peak hours.

Can I come straight from the office at 21:00?

Yes. We take bookings until the session can finish by 01:00.

What is the quickest session?

Sixty minutes, AED 525.

Is the metro practical?

From Dubai Internet City station, yes. Red Line to DMCC, then a short walk.

Do you have a separate men’s area?

Yes, with its own rooms and therapists.
